At some point I may blog about our trip home last weekend. I'm still too exhausted from it at this point to even think about doing it. Although now I'm craving Cozy Dogs dangit.
Anywhoo, we are doing a potluck tomorrow at work, so I made a yummy taco dip. Doesn't it look so lovely in my orange pyrex pan? I may eat it all before I get to work with it though. Heh. No, I'll be good, the girl bringing the chips isn't in until 10:30 so I can't even start digging in until then!

Frost Garland, Snowflake
ISo, a little story on these. One of the snowflake casseroles I actually got way back when I first started doing this (aka a few weeks ago). I got it at Savers I think, for 6.99. It was a divided casserole, but had an undivided lid. Today, they had the undivided casserole. However, it had no lid. BUT, for the same price, they had another divided with a divided lid. I asked nicely if I could take the lid of the other, and they let me (Thanks ladies!).
So, now I think I have the proper lid for both. I left the divided casserole behind since I already had it.
Then, a shelf up I saw this cute little guy. Grabbed the iPhone. See that it's listed as "Frost Garland" and is a promo piece. Yay me! 5.99 each for the two items I got today.
I can't tell you how excited I am to go home next weekend and see all the goodies my dad has picked up for me. :)
I was also a good girl and passed up quite a few items that I either had, Dad says he's already picked up, or that I just didn't like. It's hard being a good girl.
All this was done after a workout. Jillian Michaels kicked my butt.

Weight Progress
So, I totally have not been working out again. I made it four days I think. I haven't been sleeping (I'll fall asleep around one in the morning, then wake up a bunch before it's time to get up and go to work), and have been so tired when arriving home that I haven't pushed myself to work out. So, I've been trying to at least not "Snack" a lot during the evening.
This has been achieved by not having too much snack food in the house. Though I admit, I had a sore throat and bought rocky road ice cream last night, so that may end badly.
As it stands, since I posted that I was at 190, I'm down to 188 as of this morning! Score! Hopefully that's not a fluke weighin. I haven't been weighng myself daily.
Going to try to get back to at least doing the 30 day shred from Jillian Michaels. Going to go do that now. Fun fun.

Thrifting 9-17/9-18
Did some garage sale/thrift store shopping the last two days. First up was a trip to a customer's garage sale. I got a tupperware thingie (not pictured) a corning ware handle (thinking maybe someone would trade me), and an avocado green bread box!!
The bread box doesn't go with the new kitchen, so I'll probably end up trading it too, but it's so freakin' cool!
Also picked up a few pyrex items. So yay for all of that.
Now if I can just get my headache to go away.

So, I'm getting into Vintage Pyrex again. I have always had some, at least mixing bowls, since I owned a house. But when we moved to Minnesota I gave a lot of it away rather than move it. Now I'm kicking myself! So, anyway, I've been hitting up the thrift stores lately and building my collection back up.
I don't know that I'll go through and add everything I've found, but I'll probably put updated posts with what I find each week. Last week I got the following three casserole dishes:

Will probably be trading the white one (Town and Country) as I'm not a fan of the pattern.
Yesterday I got a lime green pie plate to go with my flamingo pie plate. This is what I found this morning:

I just can't have nice things!!
Earlier this week I also picked up "Wreck this Journal." I really haven't started it yet, but I need to. I think it could be a rather cathartic if I stick with it. Basically, each page of the book has a prompt on what to do, and by the time you're done with it you've totally destroyed the thing. I am not an artist at all, so we'll see how that goes, but it's suppose to help you just let loose and realize that things can't always be perfect.
