Today I got to give SmartFoods a try via Bzzagent. I didn't like these as much as some other things I've tried through bzz. The sour cream and onion tasted very yummy, but I wasn't a fan of the texture. Keep in mind I"ve had a cold/sore throat/pink eye this week. So that can effect a lot of the stuff. However, I really did like the Cinnamon and Brown sugar popped chips. Plus the small bag was only 100 calories where regular chips run 270ish calories for the same amount. May be picking this up for a snack for work.

I still suggest giving them a try. Taste was good. I think the texture just takes a bit to get use to.

Yum, Candy

Another item I was able to try and and review through bzzagent was UnReal candy. Candy this is "unjunked." Being a mom to a small child, it is really important to think about what she is eating. Now, don't get me wrong. Girl doesn't get chocolate all the time. However, once in a while she does get a bite or two as a treat. I am actually pretty excited about having an option of something to give her that isn't full of all the bad stuff.

Yes, there is a totally different taste to these candies than their counterparts. My favorite was the caramel/nugget/chocolate mix that is kind of like a Milky Way. My husband tried out their version of the snickers bar, and he liked it. Said it tasted like trail mix. The chocolate does have a bit of "raisin" taste to it, which was odd, but not a bad thing.

This evening I went back out and bought the candy coated chocolates. Basically they're like M&Ms. They don't taste anything like that. Again, that almost Raisiny taste. But, I did like them. And no weird aftertaste. I would buy them if they were on sale, but I don't see myself going out of my way to buy them either.

I think the candies will do well when they get into bigger stores. I could only find them at CVS right now, I believe they will be coming to Target later this year.

Glade Expressions

I was given an opportunity to give Glade Expressions items a try through bzzagent. I was impressed. It all started with the husband's man cave. Yes, I admit, there is a man cave in my house. I always swore we'd never have a man cave, but it's nice sending him off to his little room with all his computer and gaming items. But, for whatever reason, he chose to place a litter box near one of the two doors to the room. No big deal for him, as he never uses that door.

But is the smell of the litter box overwhelming. I walked into the man cave the other day, because I needed to use the printer. And it was horrid.

To the rescue is Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser. We put it down in the general area this morning. I went down not twenty minutes later, and could no longer smell the litter box! Yay! Now, my husband should be cleaning it more, but hey, I don't go down there often.

We bought the apple scent, and it's quite lovely without being overwhelming. I can smell it in most of our finished basement. It's not overwhelming at all, but I was really surprised how well/quickly the scent filled the space.

I also tried out the mist. Same lovely scent. And after a spray it hung around over half an hour. Which is more than other sprays I have tried in the past. Would definitely recommend. I'm sensitive to scent, some items can give me headaches, I had no problems at all. Hope to try the lavender next!
